Trent was an undergraduate researcher in the Booth lab, majoring in Environmental Studies with a minor in Geology and graduating in 2024. He was a summer research intern in the Booth lab in 2022 working on stream sampling – collecting/identifying macroinvertebrates, and also collecting periphyton samples that were brought back to be filtered, weighed, and combusted. It also included a lot of electrofishing! He has participated in both backpack and boat electrofishing and learned how to identify many species of fish and also how to take fin clips for a genetics project. He is currently a park ranger with the USACE at Harsha Lake.
